“Voodoo Ray,” written and produced by Gerald Simpson is a landmark 1988 acid-house anthem.  Its hypnotic groove combines a drifting melody, minimal percussion and looped vocal fragments - including the memorable “voodoo ray ray ray” chant - creating an entrancing, otherworldly soundscape.
