The Snow Carol

£44.00

The Snow Carol (For Choir and Brass Band/Pianoforte) is an original melody, although the words have been adapted from the German song Snow Falls Softly at Night. Some of the harmonies of the carol have been borrowed from Gustav Holst and his celebrated setting of In the Bleak Midwinter

The upper band play muted in a minimalist style likr flurrying snow.  None of the parts are technically difficult and most are repetitive, although players will have to count carefully and play with tight rhythm.
