Gopak from Fair at Sorochinsk

by Moussorgsky; arranged by Byles, D

£33.00

Moussorgsky started this work in 1874, seven years before he died at the age of 42. He never completed the work, and three other Russian composers added “their” endings. From The Fair at Sorochinsk, an opera based on an Episode from Gogols, Gopak is in a Russian folk tune style. A very skillful arrangement from David Byles.
